Who We Are

WESAANA ORPHANAGE started as a result of meeting with four homeless children at the residence of the Founder Miss Nancy at Kitintale, a Surbub on Portbell Rd. Kampala-Uganda. It eventually grew into a weekly feeding of tens of homeless and orphaned children. In 2015, Nancy was joined by two American friends Susanne Myer and Robert Luebke who paid for an apartment to help accommodate the children, later they also helped to meet the legal documents clearing and on the 25 of January 2016 Wesaana became legally registered with the Uganda government under the Companies Act Cap No.1/2012 as company limited by guarantee. We, the said founders having been inspired and urged by the need for an organization to assist children of our beloved communities and country
